Openstreetmap - Using the map of Sykies for adding info to openstreetmap , open letter

I've not yet sent this letter (I want it to be perfect first). I will send it in Greek, but I will have it in English, and ask for comments(talk ml), because most people speak English:

I'm interested in using information that exists on your map and use information from it, and put it in a database of the organisation Openstreetmap.

Openstreetmap is an organisation which tries to create a free map, by information that is contributed by volunteering efforts to a central database. That database can be used for any purpose, commercial or not, by any person , and the purpose is that these uses to remain when copying the data or making derivative works of it.(if possible)

May I have your permission to use information from your map of the municipality of Sykies and add them to the database of openstreetmap?

This letter is not signed by me. Although it's common to sign letters in Greece, I guess it's only done by people who have authority, in example people who have been elected or are working in the public sector.
